Re-installation of WBro Dan Spencer

On Saturday, 9 May 26, the Kyabram Masonic Lodge celebrated its 113th Installation and investiture of Officers. WBro Dan Spencer was honoured with his re-installation as Master of Kyabram Masonic Lodge.

Over 70 Freemasons, partners and family members travelled from places like Warragul, Traralgon, Loch, Wodonga, Mansfield and Deniliquin to support Dan and Suzanne at his Installation. It was a real pleasure to see members from Gippsland Forest Lodge, where Dan’s Masonic journey began 23 years ago.

This is Dan’s third time leading the lodge, and he’s excited about another year of making a difference.

The past year was incredibly productive, with two First Degree Ceremonies, three Second Degree Ceremonies and four Third Degree Ceremonies. We also had a lecture by WBro Joe Farra on the Second Degree Tracing Board and a Full Open and Close with Working Tools.

The 2026/27 year is looking like it’s going to be another busy one. We’ll have the Full Open and Close with Working Tools, two First Degree Ceremonies, two, possibly four Second Degree Ceremonies and two Third Degree Ceremonies. Plus, we’ll be having the First Degree Tracing Board lecture given by some of our Master Masons. Our Sunday breakfasts will continue to keep us connected and friendly outside the Lodge.

RWBro David Blake PDGM and the District 108 Grand Lodge Team put on a truly impressive ritual. A huge thank you to the officers who’ve spent their time rehearsing and travelling to Kyabram for the ceremony. Well done!

The festive board was a wonderful mix of conversations, toasts and speeches.

Dan is looking forward to an exciting year ahead with lots of activities and functions planned. Congratulations Dan, it was a wonderful evening.
